It is a circulating pump designed for pressure-boosting water in domestic properties. The pump provides additional pressure to showers, taps and similar outlet points for domestic water. The pump incorporates or connects a flow switch which starts and stops the pump when a tap is turned on or off. The pump selector can be set to the positions OFF, AUTO and MANUAL. When the selector is in the position MANUAL, at least one tap must be open. Otherwise, the pumped liquid may overheat.

VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE

Variable speed drive pumps are also known as "Constant Pressure" pumps as the speed of the motor is increased or decreased in response to demand.   The more taps that are being used, the faster the motor revs and thus the water flow increases, this, in turn, keeps the pressure constant and steady, when the taps are turned off, the motor revs reduce and this also keeps the pressure constant.   This is the perfect pump for modern homes with multiple showers where constant pressure is required.   Suitable for small motels, hotels,  homes, and many other applications where an efficient, reliable, and economical constant pressure pumping unit is required.

WARNING: This pump should be installed by a qualified professional. Hot water from a standard or gravity-feed hot water system can cause serious injury.
To ensure warranty, the pump motor must be mounted horizontally so that water flowing through the pump lubricates the pump motor bearings. The electronic control box should also be mounted on the upper side of the pump body to avoid water gathering in the electronic box. Warranty is also void if you let the pump run dry or do not adequately ensure that there are no air pockets in the pump or pipes. This pump is not designed to be open to the weather. This pump should only be used indoors or in the ceiling cavity.
